RULES OF THE GAME

We have some new rules this year for IWL. 1st of all, we will be playing 5 inning games instead of 3. There will be a pitch limit as well, since there will be 10 innings played in a day, a pitcher is only allowed to pitch 8 of those innings. The pitch speed limit is 60 mph. There will still be throw outs. New rule: if you throw the ball at the back stop while a base runner is running home, and the ball hits the backstop before the runner reaches home, the runner is out. A maximum of 4 people can play the field, and a maximum of 7 people can hit. While pitching, if the ball hits any part of the strike zone, besides the bottom part, it is a strike. All spectators must be at least 4 feet away from the recording zone. Infield fly rule will now be in place..  Thank you!
